Sorry if I’m ragging on TechEd BUT….

Just left the TechEd store.   They aren’t selling button down TechEd shirts this year.   The staff told me it was because they didn’t see any demand for them.   Still  I have bought one each of the past 10 TechEd’s I have attended.   Its a bit sad.   What’s with all the skimping?   Has the delay of Vista and changes internally caused corners to be cut everywhere at TechEd?

    I don’t think it has anything to do with cutting corners. The folks who run the company store are only going to stock things that move off the shelves. I’m sure if they thought they could make money selling an item, they’d stock it.

    At previous TechEds most people either bought t-shirt or polo shirts whenever I was in the store. A dress shirt with a company logo, such as the Microsoft shirts they had for sale are one thing, but an event logo with a date isn’t something that appeals to me. That’s my personal preference anyway.
