My Favorite TechEd T-Shirt

posted in Personal, TechEd2006 |

At TechEd, I am staying at the Boston Sheraton near Fenway park. Up on the corner is the oldest continuously operating firehouse in the country.  It was established in 1878. At home, I’m a firefighter and a lifelong Red Sox fan too! This shirt was too cool to pass up.

I too was at Tech Ed 006 and rode by the station of B.F.D. Engine 33/Ladder 15 and saw Ladder 15 on the
street a few times. I’m a 40+ year fire buff from
Philadelphia (as well as an aging geek) and am interested to know about this fire station’s longevity. Interestingly in Philly, PFD Eng.33 and
Lad 15 have overlapping territories but they’re not housed together. I would have enjoyed making your
    acquaintance a TechEd…maybe next time.

    Regards,
